Congratulations to all children who passed tap and modern exams in June.
One hundred percent of children passed successfully. Thirty percent were awarded Distinction and 70% were awarded Merit.
Six-year-old Sophia Cardarelli (The Richard Pate School branch) was awarded the highest mark of the day for her delightful performance in Primary Modern. Lola was the next highest, showing excellent dance quality, rhythm and knowledge of Grade 1 Modern.
Special congratulations to seven-year-old Flossie Parsons, six-year-old Kaia Hughes, and five-year-old Christie Nelson (all from The Richard Pate School branch) who all showed excellent response and achieved high marks for musicality and presentation in Modern Dance, and Delilah Ford for great rhythm and beating in Primary Tap.
Children at the school also achieved superb results for ballet exams in July, with 72% gaining Distinction.
Flossie Parsons was awarded the highest mark of the day with 93 marks for Level 1 Ballet. Next highest was eight-year-old Silvie Hambling, with 90 marks for Grade 2 Ballet.
High marks in performance, artistry, music and response were awarded to sixteen-year-old Georgie Doyle, eight-year-old Isabella Ayley and Lily Christopherson, seven-year-old Joshua Holmes and six-year-old Harry Hunt.
